<11/12/2022] 11/14/2022 - area of Limestone & 8th [11/15/2022>

At Jum Burrito a little bit of landscaping amongst the traffic.

The structure exist here for some reason, I don't know why but it was a nice framing element.

Walking behind buildings pays off sometimes, while an odd subject it caught my eye.

The Paddocks Apartments had this tree growing in the right place to be captured.

The tree and shadows on the left is what I wanted to capture, second time around I stopped to do so. By itself it could have worked but as it is presented has more structure to it.

Wondering around the area this gas meter caught my eye. Could not tell you why but I took the shot.

Next to the hospital is Casa Ortiz with a tribute on the wall to the source of its name.

<11/15/2022] 11/16/2022 - between Grandview & Dixie on 8th [11/17/2022>

see also While the city sleeps for 2 more images.

The rare moment when having a camera at 2:15am in morning, walking out of work, and seeing the moon in the correct place to see this scene. Captured and presented here.

The bingo place along 8th has this decorated wall that at night is well lit, slightly enhanced to produced the image.

<11/17/2022] 11/18/2022 - Comanche Trail Park [11/19/2022>

Walk your camera daily even if you are not in the mood to do so yourself. Why? On this day with my smartphone camera on me I headed out anyway to a place I know and can relax, it took some time to tune in to the place but I found something to photograph.

Along the trail to the left the leaves mostly lit up and the vines pulled me off trail to capture the scene.

Off trail consist of a 500ft wide area of pocket forest, within areas people try to camp out and play there. I found this swing in the trees.

<11/18/2022] 11/19/2022 - No where in particular [11/21/2022>

Photography has a fun side and a tedious side, this and the last four days of pictures was processed but updating the website well that was delayed a bit. The extra effort is worth the time involved to help share my discoveries.

Noel Heritage Plaza - One of the statues in the park.

Across from the library where the plaza is found the pigeon on the roof caught my eye.

Industrial & I-20 service rd - 1 of 3 - A building that has seen better days and became a canvas for artist to paint on. Here is the overview.

Industrial & I-20 service rd - 2 of 3 - The art is found inside and outside of the building.

Industrial & I-20 service rd - 3 of 3 - Amongst the trash on the floor was a lens from a pair of sunglasses, as a framing element an artistic look can be achieved.

<11/19/2022] 11/21/2022 - 2nd & Dixie [11/22/2022>

This is day 110 of shooting something daily, out of 119 days technically, so even with some missed days quite a surprising number to me. This location was a brief mental note while driving by for a small building (the second image) I saw, today in need for a new location to explore I went there. How I pick places to explore is so random yet work out usually that I can't tell you how I do it.

Manuel restaurant.

This is the small building I initially saw, worth going back to capture.

Signage and shadows are always interesting photography.

<11/21/2022] 11/22/2022 - along Andrews Hwy / Grant Ave [11/24/2022>

see also While the city sleeps for 2 more images.

Mixing in shots from the early mornings after work and daylight after waking up seems strange but an image taken doesn't care about the time of day. A day ends up being defined from midnight on to keep it all straight.

While walking to What-A-Burger a store was under renovation in the shopping center I walk through. Empty places and glass windows produce very photographic situations.

<11/22/2022] 11/24/2022 - One foggy morning [11/27/2022>

see also While the city sleeps for 4 more images.

One am in the morning as I leave work I walk out into the fog on the ground and an atmosphere that transforms the city into a place with more mystery. To begin the session I online had to move to another near by parking lot and get lost in the process. Images are split up between two links so the order taken is also shared between them.

Odessa has many rabbits displayed at businesses, this one at Salsbury Industries isn't always something I want to capture but this morning the atmosphere made it something to capture.

Along 42nd is Memorial Garden Park which is open 6am to 11pm so without going to far in I got this image and one other.

Memorial Garden Park and its Christmas lighting along the trail.

Much further along 42nd behind Walgreens is a car wash. I have photographed it before in the daylight but it was lit up in such a way to catch my eye.
